“When I am enthusiastic about something, I want to know everything about it. I investigate it, I want to understand it completely, and then I would like to share it with the whole world.”
5/1 Projector
I am a classic 5/1 Projector with Splenic Authority.
My conscious Sun is in Gate 9: Focus.
I have two defined centers (Spleen and Throat), and the rest of my design is open. Logic runs through my entire design. Improving, connecting the dots, and recognizing patterns come naturally to me.
Human Design is not just theory to me, but a way to get to know yourself without judgment.
Not to fix yourself, but to see how you are wired, where your strengths lie, and how to guide yourself in a way that truly fits you.
As a Projector with seven open centers, I take in a lot of energy from my environment, and I have lived the pitfalls of my design.
For a long time, this made my life feel intense and turbulent. It wasn’t until later that things began to settle, by creating more space, slowing down, and spending more time in nature.
On Ameland, I started my journey as an entrepreneur. First with an ice cream shop, and a few years later a sustainable women’s clothing store with an online shop. Beautiful businesses, but after the unexpected passing of my father, I felt more and more strongly that, as much as I enjoyed running them, this wasn’t what I was truly here to bring. So I stopped, without knowing what would come next.
Then Human Design came into my life.
This system gave words and logic to everything I had been feeling. For the first time, I felt truly seen for who I am. And maybe even more importantly, I realized that I am exactly right as I am.
I immersed myself in Human Design through the Business Human Design training, both foundation and consultant level, and also took a course with Karen Curry Parker.
I wanted to deeply understand the system, but I didn’t feel the pull to become a coach.
What I couldn’t let go of, though, was the idea of making Human Design tangible and easy to use. Something visual, that allows you to lay out all parts of a design and truly see how it comes together. That idea stayed with me and eventually grew into the Human Design Discovery Cards.
I believe that insight brings a sense of calm.
Within yourself and in your relationships with others.
And if I can contribute to that in a practical and accessible way, then that is exactly what feels right for me.
